Sigma Spa Brush Cleaning Mat Review

Cleaning makeup brushes is an important and necessary task, but if you are like me, it takes a while. The amount of brushes that I have, plus the amount of brushes that are tucked away, still in their packaging is seriously scary. It used to take me at least 20 minutes to wash the entire collection. Until I got the Sigma Brush Mat.

Sigma, if you didn’t know, is a Minnesota based company, and a YouTube sensation. Their brushes are known for incredible quality and ease of use, and the constantly changing makeup collection keeps surprising the customers with new colors. Anything to help us be more creative and bold when it comes to our makeup.

The brush mat has suction cups on the bottom, and attaches to your sink. The right side is for face brushes, while the left one is for eyes. There are seven different sections (textures) for cleaning, refining and rinsing the brushes. And it’s incredibly time saving. I was done washing all my brushes in under 10 minutes. My life has never been easier!

The Spa Brush Mat is $32 and is available on or at their Mall of America location.

One last thing, don’t clean your beauty blender using the mat, it will be destroyed!

The NEW Sigma Enlight Collection

Disclosure: I received this collection for review, in exchange for my honest opinion. All Sigma products have been provided by the company, other products are my own.

Holiday makeup kits are probably one of my favorite parts about the holidays in general! And today I have the privilege to talk to you about the new Sigma Enlight Kit that will be available on Black Friday!

I am going to share a quick overview/review of the new collection, and show you the look I created using some of the products.

The collection includes:

I am going to admit, the brushes and the eyeliners are my favorite part! Having been obsessed with palettes and eyeshadows for a long time, I finally started getting over it! I definitely like the blush and the variety of eyeshadow primers. The lip glosses were also a pleasant surprise, since they are not sold in the store yet!

Have you also noticed how everything comes in sets of 3 (and the eyeshadow palette has 9 colors, so 3 sets of 3 – I just thought it was extra cool!)

Now for the look!

I used Eye Shadow base in Neutralize, eyeshadows in Russet and Mild Mannered, eye liner in Vintage, my Cover Girl Flamed Out Mascara, Cover Girl lose powder (that I  applied with my Becca Brush), Serene blush (that I applied with my Eco tools brush), and Tint lipgloss!

And this is why I wear makeup! (It took Sam three tries to spot the difference! Bless his heart! I have the best husband ever!)

I did notice that the primer doesn’t hold eyeshadow for as long as I would want, and the eyeshadow can get messy during application. But the brushes are amazing, and I realized I haven’t been giving Sigma brushes the attention they deserve (I guess the excessive amount of reviews on YouTube turned me off!) I know I will definitely be stopping by the Sigma store at the Mall of America every time I am there now, there is a lot to look at, play with and try!

What do you think of Sigma, my look, and the importance of wearing makeup in general?

Happy Hump Day! Don’t forget to join in tomorrow for some holiday looks on Thrift Style Thursday!
