October Wish List

As most of you know I am now using only 1 make up palette, and even though it’s a Sephora Blockbuster, which has a ton of colors and make up combination options, I can’t help but look at some other brands and palettes out there.

I get to go to Target almost every day. Sometimes I need to buy something, sometimes just to look around!

Last week, as I went to buy some soup, I finally satisfied my Missoni for Target craving, and got this journal:

But the two things from Target, that are going to be on my makeup wish list this month are:

1. Jemma Kid Backstage Makeup Kit

2. Pixi Nude Shade Wardrobe

Dying to get my hands on these ones :)

Hope your weekend is going great! Yesterday Sam and I went to CVS and saved $20 on candy and other groceries, our total was $4.53! I thought it was pretty sweet! Anyways, I have a special post coming up on saving money and living frugally, since I don’t have a job until my work permit comes to town!

Love,

ZhenyAH!

PS. Here is something exciting for you all to look at! This is supposingly the most popular band in Russia – Serebro!

To Infinity and Beyond

There are several great scarf trends out there this season. And my number one favorite is the Infinity Scarf!

What is an infinity scarf?

It’s basically a scarf that has no end, so if you want to make one, you are going to start off making a regular scarf, and then sew the ends together. I am in the process of knitting one for myself for the upcoming fall season!

Most of the retailers carry them. Starting with Old Navy and ending with Vince, and other designer brands.

Another famous infinity scarf that has been “out of stock” is the Missoni for Target zigzag scarf.

But as our local StarTribune called it - Target is the poor man’s Neiman Marcus - so we won’t go there :)

Anyways, Infinity scarves are great, and you should try finding one at your local retailer! Let me know what you find and if you want pics to be posted on my blog!

Marina in the City

Yes Minneapolis is not New York, but today we got a piece of NYC here at Target on Nicollet Mall, and quiet a large one (not to offend anyone, especially Marina). Today is one of the days I am glad I walked to work with my husband :) I spotted something going on at Target when we were walking to RBC building. And I knew I definitely wanted to check it out on the way home.

The downtown Target has 2 floors, and when I got there – there she was – sitting on the floor with her iPhone in hand, moving with the help of 2 men (we do need men after all, don’t we?)

Her name is Marina, and she is a style blogger, you can text her, tweet her, or check out her blog. This is the best promotional I have ever seen. And while standing there watching her, I heard one of the women say that she was immediately going shopping and that there was only one skirt left :) Talk about the hype!

I knew about Missoni coming to Target from the August issue of Vogue. And immediately recognized the print on Marina’s clothes.

One of my friends tweeted 5 minutes later after I posted pictures to Facebook and Twitter:

“I can’t wait to get my heiny to Target to raid Missoni”

Well it might have already been raided, plus I heard that the website is down this AM!

Go check her out if you are in downtown Minneapolis, I think they are only going to have her tweeting and texting there in the morning :)
