Sam and I had an incredible 4 day weekend. Thursday we went to campus, and oh my goodness how I missed it! We went to all three campuses, took the connector to St Paul, because I wanted Sam to see my campus, and because I wanted to go to Lori’s for coffee.

It definitely feels good to be a senior, but the realization hasn’t hit me yet. I love school, being on campus (even though I don’t live on campus) and seeing my friends. And I know it will be hard for me to leave, but I’m going to enjoy my last year to the fullest.

This semester I’ll be busy with 18 credits, and two internships, I’m staying with Verizon for a while, as well as continuing my Style Guru escapades with CollegeFashionista. This semester I will also be a social media inter at CF, so keep an eye out for all the awesome #stylegurulove posts on my Instagram.

Peace!

Style It: Midi Skirt

My new favorite midi skirt by Joa is one of the most tactile textural pieces that I’ve owned. Also one of the few grey ones. The thick polyester makes it perfect for chilly fall days, and the coming winter. And of course the polka dot pattern. I will be honest this pattern has grown on me over the past few months. Here it’s very subtle, and I really like that.

Happy Halloween everyone! I hope you are all dressing up and having a party this weekend! I’ll have some pics on my Instagram today and tomorrow! So make sure to check those out.

When I was in 9th grade, everyone who was anyone seemed to have had Grinders, a European (?) version of Dr. Martens. Some people still had Dr. Martens, but I don’t think I was friends with any of them 😉 Everyone called Grinders – sh*& stompers, and that was probably one of the reasons why I didn’t want to buy them, nor did I have the money. I didn’t start working till I was 16, and that was already after I graduated high school.

But I lucked out, and now, 12 years later when I am 27, I can finally go back to my high school years, rocking a pair of Dr. Martens that I scored at the brand new Goodwill here in St. Louis Park! I spent about 2 hours thrifting there on Saturday morning, even got a 15% discount and scored some amazing work out gear and home decor (more on that later and on Goodwill blog!)

How did you spend your Saturday?
