February Blogger SWAP

We did it again, we swapped! I love doing blogger swaps and this time around I actually made sure I mailed everything in a timely manner. It’s just so hard to go anywhere when it feels like 30 below outside! Trust me, even going to work is challenging for me in these temps! Where is July?

This time my partner was Feier from Dash of Rose, she has a beautiful DIY and lifestyle blogger, and I loved getting to know her through the swap, because before that I’ve never heard of her blog. (That’s probably the number one reason why I like swaps so much! I get to meet new bloggers from new places!)

Putting the package together was really easy this time around, here is what I sent Feier:

And here is what she sent me:

As you can see we both sent each other hand made clutches, and I absolutely loved the travel size of  my favorite Oscar Blandi dry shampoo! And look at all these zippers! Love them! I am also planning on hanging that elephant trinket up on my Christmas tree this year, meanwhile it’s hanging out by the window in my dining room!
Have you ever done a swap? Did you like it? Would you be interested in doing one in the future?
Here are all the other bloggers who swapped, check out their posts, I know not everyone is posting today, but it’s always good to find new blogs to read 🙂

Beauty Swap 2013

sweet-summer-swap

I have never been a huge fan of beauty swaps, but when I saw one on Luchessa’s blog, I decided to give it a go! If you’ve never participated in a swap like that, it’s really easy, you just need to make time to talk to the other person, find out what they like, shop for them and mail it all out!
This swap’s rules were simple:
– $20 limit without shipping
– Mail everything out by May 25

The swap was international, but I got paired up with Julie, the author of Short and Sweet in Texas. Not only was I excited to save on some shipping, I was really excited to find out that Julie’s blog is a nail polish blog! I am kind of behind in that department, so she became my saving grace, updating my collection and nail care arsenal!

But before I show what I got, let me show what I sent:

And here is what I got:

NYC Long wearing polish 152 Tudor City Teal

Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure 350 Pink a Card

Revlon 430 Whimsical

NYC Quick Dry Nail polish 201 Fashion Safari

Sally Hansen Cuticle Eraser and Balm

Sally Hansen No more mistakes marker

I absolutely love the nude nail polish by NYC and the No More Mistakes Marker by Sally Hansen! I don’t know how I lived without that product!

Have you swapped anything recently?
