Pink Midi

Carrie-Bradshaw-Inspired

This pink midi skirt reminds me of Carrie Bradshaw’s Oscar de la Renta dress circa Sex and the City season 6. She wore it out one night on a date with the Russian. And even though my skirt is nothing fancy, in fact it’s made of  neoprene, the material that screams anything, but fashionable to me, I feel like a million bucks in it.

I also wanted to talk about the shoes today, because without them my look wouldn’t have been complete. One of my coworkers has recently brought me 8 pairs of brand new shoes. She had a foot surgery and now, nothing really fits. But we do wear the same size. #Shoeblessing is exactly what I needed to help me go through this week. Work has been really hard, and stressful. But then there are all the new pairs. My one question now is – how do you store all the shoes? Especially if you have so many pairs? What about boots? Send me your ideas, I would love to make a Pinterest board!

Do you have a piece in your wardrobe that makes you feel special? What is it? Do you wear it often, or is it only for certain occasions?

  3. First of all, I absolutely LOVE your skirt and it works lovely with the white top.
Second, quick tip for the shoe storage: I put old wine bottles in my tall boots to help hold the shape and form for easy storage.

Thank you Jasmine! And great tip about the boots! I heard people also buy pool noodles, cut those up, and stick them in, or there are special things you can buy on ebay. But I like the wine bottle idea so much more!

  4. That skirt is so beautiful! I love the color, I love the shape! It’s just perfect!! You look great!
