New in my Makeup Bag: Boots Beauty Products

I have recently started using a few Boots beauty products! I am sure you’ve heard of Boots, they are a number one U.K beauty brand (est. 1935!) and are available at Target stores throughout the US. I have tried their loose powder before, and was extremely pleased. Plus all the products are hypo-allergenic and dermatologically tested, making them suitable for my super-sensitive skin. That’s why when this review chance came around, I knew I couldn’t resist.

The products I received included:

Boots No7 Beautiful Brows Pencil in Brown – includes a unique wax combination for smooth application. It’s a great eyebrow pencil. I especially like the brush on the opposite end. I kind of wish it came with a sharpener too, I am on a search for one, so if you have a favorite sharpener for eyeliners, brow pencils, please let me know! For $6.99 it’s an acceptable brow pencil that will last you for a long time.

No7 Beautiful Skin Day Cream for Dry/Very Dry skin – with the polar vortex making it’s way through Minnesota, I need as much moisturizer as I can get. I actually took this cream with me to New York, and used it both day and night. I love it. It’s supposed to help you reveal more healthy, radiant looking skin in 14 days. An SPF of 15, is also a great factor to consider. And while I wish the SPF factor was higher, this will do. The cream contains a unique blend of Vitamins E and C, as well as minerals, and for $13.99 it’s definitely worth the buck!

Boots Botanics Rebalance Rehydrating Body Butter – this is a product I am yet to try, but it’s time is coming soon! It’s free of parabens, mineral oils, waxes, SLS and SLES. Not tested on animals. Plus the packaging is made out of recycled materials. When I saw Shea butter, Coconut oil and Cocoa butter on the ingredients list, I knew this product and I were a match made in PR heaven!

Boots Botanics All Bright Cleansing Face Wipes – have become my saving grace! There are days when I am lazy, really lazy, like I don’t want to brush my teeth lazy! I talked to a few of my blogger friends, and turns out I am not the only one with the problem. Of course I’ve been trying hard to wash my face every night, but when I fail – these wipes are there to save the night!  They are also targeted to brighten skin, and are enriched with unique plant extracts and can remove even waterproof makeup.

Boots No7 Stay Perfect Lipstick – I wouldn’t be me, if I didn’t want another lipstick. My lipstick came in Raspberry and is a perfect shade for the winter! It is bold and makes you stand out, just how I like it. This lipstick is also enriched with vitamins, making my lips feeling smooth. It reminded me of Clinique’s Black Honey lipstick! Great texture, great color.

Boots Botanics All Bright Cleansing Toner – is a toner that I can’t wait to try, but it promises to gently cleanse, revitalize and nourish! I am a firm believer in toners! So once I use up my Clinique toner, it’s going to be this baby’s turn.

Have you tried any of the Boots Skincare or Makeup? What did you think?

Have a great Wednesday and I will see you tomorrow for Thrift Style Thursday!

Disclosure: The products shown in this post were provided in exchange for my honest review. I am though taking a part in the Project Use Up though and not buying any new makeup/skincare for a year!

Comments

  1. Do you still use the Bright wipes?
I’m considering buying them, but my skin is sensitive and breakout-prone, so I’m reading about them first : )

  2. I went into a Boots in London once after backpacking for six weeks and I was so happy to walk through aisles and aisles of PRODUCTS!

  3. I used to love the no7 mousse make up shade 30 (almond)…and they discontinued it. 🙁 I have yet to find a foundation that I like at all. I honestly never tried any of their other products. Stay warm…

    • Oh cool! Yeah sometimes when I go to Target they don’t have a lot of makeup options, but the skincare seems to be on par with a lot of other bands!
