Chop chop, here I come running with scissors towards this little number:
It’s my thrifted vintage Carol Anderson dress! The hem line is all screwed up though! It was pinned and even taped! At least I got some safety pins out of this project
I also wasn’t extremely happy with the sleeves – too boxy for my taste:
So I made these little rectangle straps from the chopped piece:
Then sewed them onto the dress:
Here is a close up too:
Then I simply re-hemmed the dress. Easy Peasy and a perfect bright outfit for a hot summer day like this!
Thumbs up for the iron in the back ground, right?
I spent the day shopping, thrifting, walking by Calhoun and driving around Lakewood cemetery with my friend Masha! Oh all the fun and junk food we had
I will definitely do a haul post (seems like I am falling into the habit of doing a haul post every week
) and a post dedicated to the historical Lakewood in Minneapolis! It is a pretty cool place if you ask me! Hope you all had a cool day, and I literally mean COOL
xo,
Z

Not only do I love seeing your refashions, but, as I’ve said before, it’s so fun to see your pictures of my old stomping grounds.
Beautiful dress! Great refashion!
