Crochet Jewelry

As most of you know I go to “Knitting” every Wednesday, well I have kinda been slacking for the past few weeks, but I am getting back on track with my projects. And even though I’ve been having a hard time figuring out what I want to work on next, I decided to settle on crochet jewelry. WHAT?! I know, it’s fun, easy and fast to make, and if some of you remember I made a couple necklaces last spring (check them out here and here). It’s also important to remember that crochet jewelry includes beads, ribbons, chains, and other fun stuff, it’s a symbiosis of jewelry! Oh yeah!

So to give you a feel of what crochet jewelry is all about, here are some inspirational images ;)

I bet you can’t wait what I am going to come up with!

xoxo,

Z

  1. I am just starting crochet and your creations are such an inspiration oh I would love to try that!!! Your necklace are beautiful!!

  2. Question: what yarn is used here? Is it cotton? Silk? I’d love to know more.

    • I’m not really sure, to be honest I buy my yarn at thrift stores, when the tags are already off :) I would say it’s a cotton and silk mix!

      • Ha-ha. So do I! So many of my hats are made from “up-cycled” yarn and I can’t tell you the kind of yarn it is either. These flowers are so delicate, compared to the hats I make. I guess I’ll just go looking for something that’s a finer quality than I usually use. Thanks.

    • I design and crochet hats, and have often added beads and crocheted flowers to them, but it never occurred to me to turn these additions into jewellery. The more I think about it the more I like it. I might just be branching out! Thank you again for posting this.

  3. Have you opened your etsy shop yet? you should..

I’m in love with the second necklace, but the third picture kinda creeped, me out… looks like a dead woman:))

  4. The first and second ones are amazing! Maybe I should learn how to knit and crochet…

  5. These pieces are gorgeous! Now…if only I know how to crochet!

  6. these pieces look beautiful, and match all tastes and occasions, and sure can`t wait to see what u ll come up with :)

  7. The top one is my favorite, I might try copy it it’s got a a softer-than-metal, precious feel to it. Also I can wear it in nice weather without it heating up and burning me, unlike my last chain necklace…
